Valencia have made their interest in Fiorentina midfielder Carlos Sanchez known after Inter Milan received an offer from China for Geoffrey Kondogbia.
French midfielder Kondogbia has been in superb form this season and has played an integral part in Los Che’s impressive league campaign, which sees them sit eight points above fourth placed Real Madrid and having remained unbeaten until December.
The French international’s form has been met with interest from a number of big clubs, whilst Valencia officials have been keen to discuss a permanent deal with parent club, Inter.
There desire to keep hold of the midfielder could be rocked though after an un-named Chinese side made contact with the Italian side.
Interest in Kondogbia from China follows talk of a number of La Liga based players leaving for the Super League with Cedric Bakambu set to leave Villarreal for Beijin Guoan.
That has forced Valencia bosses to join the likes of Getafe and Deportivo La Coruna with interest in Sanchez, who is on a two-year loan at Fiorentina from Aston Villa.
The Colombian has fallen out of favour with the Viola this season and has made just 10 appearances in all competitions.
The 31-year-old is reportedly keen to make a move to Spain and could be available for a fee of around€3.5-4m.
