Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele will miss a further four weeks of action after suffering a hamstring injury.
The French international joined Barca last summer from German club Borussia Dortmund, but he is yet to have a good run in the team, having picked up an injury in September.
Having returned from the injury, which kept him out until January, Dembele has now picked up an injury following the 4-2 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Dembele has featured in in just six games for the Catalan side and is now expected to return in time for the Champions League tie with Chelsea on February 20th.
“Tests have confirmed that the player has suffered a hamstring injury of the semitendinosus muscle that does not affect the area operated on earlier in the season,” Barcelona said in a statement.
Barca captain Andres Iniesta, who was on the substitutes bench against Sociedad, also has a problem in his right calf and is a major doubt for the Copa del Rey clash with Espanyol on Wednesday.
The league leaders found themselves 2-0 down at the Anoeta on Sunday evening, but goals from Paulinho, Luis Suarez (2) and Lionel Messi ensured they remained unbeaten for the first half of the La Liga season.
