Levante left it late to rescue a point as Ivi struck twice in the final ten minutes against ten-man Deportivo La Coruna.
Depor came into the game, having been thrashed 7-1 last week by Real Madrid and they did all they could to give their home fans something to cheer about – racing to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Adrian Lopez and Florin Andone.
The Galician side had Celso Borges sent off after half an hour, but their one-man disadvantage did not see them change their approach, keeping the visitors at bay for 80 minutes.
However, a final ten minutes of lapse in concentration allowed the Valencian based visitors to seal a point and stun the Riazor.
Ivi, struck twice on the 80th and 84th minute, the first being a deflected effort and the second being a superb 25-yard effort.
The result sees Depor sit in 18th, whilst Levante are just two points above in 16th – either side of Alaves, who lost 2-1 to Barcelona on Sunday evening thanks to goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
In Saturday’s other games, Girona drew 0-0 at Malaga, whilst Real Madrid went to the Mestalla and beat Valencia 4-2 thanks to a double from Cristiano Ronaldo.
