English Premier League side Watford have recalled goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon from Deportivo La Coruna, with the player then heading straight back out the door to join Championship side Nottingham Forest on loan.
The six foot eight goalkeeper joined Depor on loan at the start of the season but only made seven appearances for the Galician side, falling behind Ruben Martinez in the pecking order.
Watford want the player to be getting regular first team action and with minutes few and far between at the Riazor, The Hornets have decided to recall him and send him out to Forest where he is expected to start more often.
The Romanian started his career with Politehnica Timisoara in his home country, playing 115 times before attracting the eye of Manchester City, moving to England in 2012. However, he only played seven times over two years for the Citizens before joining Sunderland.
He moved to Watford in 2016 but has played just two games for them and has spent time on loan at Depor and now Forest.
Pantilimon has also played 27 times for his country, earning his first cap against Georgia in 2008 and was included in the Euros in two years ago in France, but was second choice behind Ciprian Tatarusanu.
