Real Madrid have been forced to cancel their Monday training session after heavy snowfall in the Spanish capital.
Several roads that the Madrid players use to obtain access to the club’s training ground Valdebebas were closed and therefore the club took the decision to cancel the morning session.
The weather forecast is better on Tuesday, allowing Zinedine Zidane’s men to return to training without any problems.
It is fair to say that Madrid have got better in recent weeks in the league, beating struggling Deportivo La Coruna 7-1 and Valencia 4-1 last week, however, a dismal 2-2 with Levante saw them slip even further behind Barca and the top three La Liga teams.
Barca, who remain unbeaten in the league, sit comfortably at the top of 58 points, whilst Atleti are in second on 49 and Los Che are in third on 40 points.
Whilst many now believe that a Champions League title will make up for their domestic failings, the daunting task ahead of them against Paris Saint Germain could see Madrid win nothing this season.
Madrid now prepare to face Real Sociedad at the weekend, before focus switches to the mouth watering Champions League clash with PSG, with the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.
