Deportivo La Coruna fans have spray painted parts of the city in their anger at the performances of Lucas Perez, who has failed to perform on his return to the club.
Having left the Galician club in 2016 for a spell with Arsenal, Perez demanded a loan back to his former club after failing to settle in the English capital.
His return to Depor was met with open arms and delight form the club’s fans, but after 20 appearances which have featured just five goals – the loyal Branquiazuis fans have now attacked the Spaniard.
Born in the city of A Coruna, Perez still lives in a largely busy part of the city, and several works of graffiti have displayed their anger.
Meanwhile, newly appointed Deportivo La Coruna boss Clarence Seedorf has said he is relishing the challenge of helping the Galician side avoid relegation.
Friday evening’s 5-0 thumping at the hands of Real Sociedad was the final nail in the coffin for owners of the Galician side, seeing them slip back into the relegation places and sit three points from safety, having not won in seven games in the league.
Cristobal was only promoted from the B team in October to take over at the club, but nine defeats and three wins has seen him lose his job.
Former Real Sociedad boss Martin Lasarte was heavily linked with the role, but his rejection has seen the Riazor outfit look towards former Dutch international Seedorf.
