Real Madrid host Real Sociedad on Saturday evening and will be hoping to get back to winning again following on from lasts week’s draw against Levante that sees them 19 points behind league leaders Barcelona, whilst Sociedad will hope to emulate last Friday’s win over Deportivo with another three points.
A win for the home side could see them up into third for 24 hours before Valencia play their game, however defeat could possibly leave them outside of a Champions league place in what has already been a below par season for Los Blancos. A win for Eusebio Sacristan side could see them up to twelfth place and give them more hope of possibly avoiding the drop at the end of the season.
In the meeting of the two sides earlier on in the season it saw Madrid run out 3-1 winners with goals from Bale and Mayoral as well as an own goal by Kevin Rodrigues minutes after he scored at the right end for Sociedad.
The hosts have no injuries heading into the match but Real Sociedad will be without David Concha, Willian Jose, Adnan Januzaj and Carlos Martinez who have all been ruled out through injury.
