Atletico Madrid are unsure on the futures of Fernando Torres, Yannick Yarrasco and Nicolas Gaitan after interest from the Chinese Super League.
Gaitan has struggled for playing time this season and is now set for Dalian Yifang after interest emerged over the weekend.
The winger is set to become the next in a long list of La Liga based players close to a move to China, having seen Cedric Bakambu move from Villarreal in January.
Whilst the former Benfica man is expected to move within the coming days, it is understood that both Torres and Carrasco, who have been heavily linked – are not sure moves will happen.
33-year-old Torres has been competing for game time against Diego Costa, Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro throughout the season, with the other three continuing to add to their goal scoring accounts on a regular basis, leaving the former Liverpool and Chelsea man to spend the majority of this season watching from the sidelines.
Failure to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, as well as the money spent on signing Costa and Vitolo has resulted in further financial issues, and the club is known for using the transfer market as a way to balance the books.
Carrasco’s future has been hanging in the balance in the last seven days, whilst Torres’ absence from the match-day squads for the games against Copenhagen and Sevilla have opened up a move.
Belgian winger Carrasco is reportedly subject to a £65m offer from a Chinese Super League side, but boss Diego Simeone is understood to remain keen on keeping the talented forward at the club.
