Ben Hardman from BlogBetis believes Real Betis can stake their claim for a European place tonight against Levante.
Having lost 5-3 to Real Madrid last time out, Betis are in search of a win which will keep them in contention for the European places, but they must get past Levante, who in are also in search of points as they look to push away from the relegation zone.
Betis, are famed this season for scoring as many as they concede, but boss Quique Setien will be hoping his side can keep a clean sheet on Monday evening at the Ciutat de Valencia.
It marks the start of three games in six days for the Andalusian side, facing Real Sociedad on Thursday and back in the city of Valencia to face Los Che on Sunday evening.
“There are not many times Betis head into a game firm favourites, but tonight is one of them, ” Hardman said.
“With four wins in the last four games against Levante, and the Valencia based team in dire form, Quique Setien’s men are expected to take three points back to Seville.
“Previously, when in a similar position, most teams would crumble, so this is a real chance to stake our claim for a European place.
“A win would propel us to seventh place, just three points behind Sevilla.”
Betis will head into the game with youngster Loren Moran and Sergio Leon playing together for the first time, whilst Marc Bartra commands the back four.
For the home side, Roger and Sadiku play together, whilst Cheick Doukoure marshals the midfield area.
