Manchester United are working behind the scenes to make a summer move for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to reports.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is working on a number of changes this coming summer at Santiago Bernabeu, and whilst Kroos has been impressing this season, it is thought that he could be off-loaded as the reigning La Liga leaders look for fresh faces.
Madrid currently sit 14 points behind league leaders Barcelona, and seven points off Atletico Madrid in second.
Kroos’ potential sale has seen a number of clubs show interest, including Juventus and former club, Bayern Munich.
However, it is now being reported by Daily Express, that United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring him to Old Trafford.
The English club missed out on Kroos in 2014, when he opted to join Madrid, but a move could now be on the cards with Mourinho keen on the midfielder.

Kroos would act as a perfect replacement for veteran midfielder Michael Carrick, who is set to retire from the game after 12 years at the English club.
Manchester City are also said to be showing interest with Pep Guardiola keen to beat his former nemesis to the signing of the German international.
