Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s search for a new keeper seems to be coming to an end after Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas told team-mates he wanted to move to Anfield.
Madrid club president Florentino Perez is keen to bring in a number of fresh faces at the Santiago Bernabeu next season and that has seen his desire to bring in a new number one, develop.
Previous target Athletic Club Kepa turned down a move to the reigning La Liga champions, whilst a move for David de Gea from Manchester United or Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea – are a possibility.

Navas, who has been in superb form this season, is expected to leave, with interest coming from a number of English and Italian sides.
Liverpool, who have been uneasy with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius this season, are keen to bring in the Costa Rican keeper.
And, it is understood that Navas has told close friends and team-mates at Madrid that would love a move to Merseyside.
A potential deal could also involve Dani Ceballos, who has also been linked with a summer exit to Liverpool.
The former Real Betis man has found playing time hard to come by this season under Zinedine Zidane.
