Paris Saint Germain are attempting a summer move for Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois, according to reports.
The Ligue 1 club are keen to bring a new first choice keeper and improve their chances of winning the Champions League, and it is understood that a meeting with Belgian stopper Courtois has taken place earlier this week.
Belgian media RTBF claim that a meeting took place at a London Hotel on Monday between PSG officials and Courtois.
A potential move by PSG would hamper any plans Real Madrid had of making a summer move.
Madrid president Florentino Perez is looking at a number of options to replace current number one Keylor Navas, and is keen on the former Atletico Madrid keeper as a back-up to David De Gea of Manchester United, should interest fail in the Spanish number one.
Matched with interest; it is also reported that Juventus and Atleti are keen on Belgian Courtois – with the latter wanting to bring him back to the club.
The 25 year old was vocal last summer about his desire for a new contract with the London side but has been unable to reach an agreement, and it is now reported that he is eyeing a move back to Madrid with Real.
The Belgian’s two children live in Spain’s capital and he has opened up about desire to eventually move back to the city.
Whilst Navas has been impressing at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, it is expected that Perez will make a number of changes to the personnel at the club next summer.
The likes of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are also being linked with moves away.
