Tenerife and Getafe will contest Segunda play-off final after beating Cadiz and Huesca, respectively.
Saturday night saw Huesca and Getafe contest their play-off semi-finals second leg after a 2-2 draw earlier in the week and it was the latter who came out all guns blazing as they breezed into the final.
Veteran striker Jorge Molina was in superb form as he played in Juan Cala to open the scoring just after the half hour mark, before Dani Pacheco scored on the hour mark.
Huesca tried all they could to get themselves back in the game but former Villarreal midfielder David Fuster made it 3-0 and 5-2 on aggregate.
One negative for the winners was Pacheco’s last minute red card, meaning he will miss the final.
In Sunday’s other semi final, Gaku Shibasaki netted a vital equalizer and steered Tenerife to the promotion playoff final.
The former Kashima Antlers midfielder, placed home a low cross from the right in the 34th minute for his first goal in front of his home fans.
Tenerife, who lost the first leg 1-0, won the return match by the same scoreline and played out a scoreless extra 30 minutes to book a final berth after it finished the regular season in fourth, a place above Cadiz.
Tenerife will now face Getafe. Tenerife will be at home on Wednesday before the return leg away on Saturday.
