Inter Milan are keen to pursue a permanent move for on-loan Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo, according to reports.
Los Che are keen to agree a permanent deal for French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has been impressing on loan at the Mestalla and is playing a big part in their success on the field.
And, with negotiations having begun over a summer deal, it is now being reported that Cancelo could be used as part of way for the La Liga side to fund the move.
Cancelo has been on a season long loan with the Milanese giants, who have the option of making the move permanent for €35m.
The Italian club had disciplined the Portuguese international earlier this season after a number of problems in training, but it is understood they are now keen to keep hold of his services.
Valencia have been handed a deadline of 30th June to make Kondogbia’s move permanent, but it is understood that will depend on Cancelo’s futute.
Cancelo have featured just eight times in the league for Inter, plus twice in the cup and he will be hoping to gain more playing time with the World Cup in Russia this summer fast approaching.
