The agent of Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele has met with Barcelona officials, according to a report in Marca.
Dembele, who has been impressing this season with the Bundesliga side and has caught the eye of various European sides, including Barca, who are set to bring a number of new faces after losing their grip on the La Liga title to Real Madrid this season.
The young French international recently revealed that he turned down Barcelona last summer for Dortmund, but a move to the Catalan capital may be on the cards this summer.
Reports are continuing to grow and the claims of a meeting with Barca’s technical director Robert Fernandez has further enhanced those.
Marca state that Moussa Sissoko, Dembele’s agent was in Barcelona over the weekend to discuss the early details on a summer move.
It also claims that a note in German media outlet BILD states that the deal could be close to €90m– a record sale for a Bundesliga club.
Dembele joined Dortmund last summer from French side Rennes and scored ten goals in 49 appearances.
The 20-year-old has seven international caps for the French national side and scored his first senior goal against England earlier this month.
