Real Madrid have begun their summer sale of players, offering Gareth Bale to a number of European sides.
BBC – Benzema, Bale, and Cristiano (Ronaldo) looks set to come to an end after a season which has seen them falter in La Liga and in European competition.
Whilst Ronaldo has been largely inconsistent domestically, he has sensationally returned to form and is still, very much part of Florentino Perez’s plans at the club.
For French striker Benzema though, his time now seems to be coming to an end with the former Lyon front-man understood to have received offers from China and England.
Bale, is more than likely expected to return to England, where both Manchester United and former club, Tottenham Hotspur, are showing interest.
And, the Spanish club are now offering his services to potential other European clubs as they look make him the first of a number of summer sales.
The Welsh winger has struggled with fitness and form in the past 12 months and has seen his playing time come under heavy pressure from Spanish youngsters Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.
President Perez is keen to look at bringing in replacements, having been labelled with interest of Paris Saint Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, whilst Robert Lewandowski is keen to leave Bayern Munich for the Santiago Bernabeu.
The futures of Isco, Luka Modric, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Jesus Vallejo, Borja Mayoral and Achraf Hakimi are also up for debate.
