Valencia are casting an eye over young Porto defender Diogo Dalot, according to a report in Superdeporte.
Dalot has been impressing on all levels this season for the Portuguese club and has gained significant interest from a number of European clubs, with Los Che said to be at the top of that list.
Having developed with Porto, the Braga born defender represented the B team on 23 occasions before being handed a debut by Porto boss Sergio Conceicao.
Los Che officials were said to have watched on prior to their visit to Switzerland earlier this week, where they attended the U21 game between Portugal and the Swiss.
Dalot started the game and played the full ninety minutes and he is said to have now convinced club scouts, who have since returned to Valencia to submit their report.
The right back sees his contract expire in June 2019, and it is believed Porto are trying to convince him to remain at the club.
Transfermarkt claim that Dalot’s current transfer value is set at £1.75m, which has rose by over 100% in the last six months.
Dalot, has represented Portugal at all levels from Under-15 up to U21 and it is expected that he will break into the senior squad sooner rather than later.
