Spanish economic newspaper Palco23 have released TV audience figures for each La Liga club in the 2017/18 campaign, prepare to be surprised.

20) Leganes

Despite head coach Asier Garitano spearheading his Leganes to a respectable 14th place spot with eight games remaining, Los Legionarios struggle to attract the masses to their box-sets.

Total viewing figures (this season): 8.087,390

Average per match: 404.370

19) Villarreal 

Villarreal have looked a side reminiscent to the successes of previous years this term, although their upward trajectory to fifth place appears to have not been well watched.

Average per match: 496, 645

18) Real Sociedad 

Dislodged in mid-table and a season to forget for La Real adds to the reason why their TV coverage may have been limited compared to other years.

Average per match: 548,565

17) Alaves

Having secured LaLiga football next season, Alaves will be happy not to feature in the televised race for survival.

Average per match: 565,541

16) Levante

However, for Levante, they could yet be dragged into the relegation scrap with seven points separating them from 18th place Las Palmas, Francisco José López Fernández may not want to watch.
