Cristiano Ronaldo could still leave Real Madrid this summer, according to Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo.
A remarkable goal this week saw Ronaldo lauded in press and amongst fans of the Spanish club; something which has been less and less this season, given his lack of form in La Liga before the turn of 2018.
Prior to the new year, the former Manchester United man was heavily linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with some reports claiming he could return to England.
Those claims have calmed lately after his form in both La Liga and Europe improved – but following his ‘incredible’ strike against Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday evening – a new report has surfaced.
President Florentino Perez was seen not celebrating the goal, prompting speculation that he could be ready to sell the Portuguese international.
Ronaldo, who has a contract until 2021, did question his future in Spain during the Club World Cup in December – and it is now thought that a summer move could be debated amongst club officials.
Further claims have said that Ronaldo is unhappy at being below both Neymar (Paris Saint Germain) and arch-nemesis Lionel Messi (Barcelona) – who have seen their salaries increased of late.
