Gareth Bale’s summer move to Manchester United is on hold as the English club await offers for French winger Anthony Martial.
Bale, who has been linked with a summer exit has been heavily predicted to move to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho a massive admirer of the former Tottenham Hotspur winger.
The Welsh winger has struggled with fitness and form in the past 12 months and has seen his playing time come under heavy pressure from Spanish youngsters Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.
Bale has been put at the forefront of Florentino Perez’ summer sale, and it is now expected that a move to the English club will develop.
Whilst it is now heavily predicted that he will move to Man United – Anthony Martial’s future in Manchester is causing any negotiations to be on hold.
Mourinho is keen to sell the French international and use some of the funds made from a sale in a deal for Bale.
Italian side Juventus have been labelled with interest and it is expected that the Serie A champions will make a summer move.
English reports claim a bid in the region of £88m will be enough to see Madrid accept and sell the Welsh international.
President Perez is keen to look at bringing in replacements, having been labelled with interest of Paris Saint Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, whilst Robert Lewandowski is keen to leave Bayern Munich for the Santiago Bernabeu.
The futures of Isco, Luka Modric, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Jesus Vallejo, Borja Mayoral and Achraf Hakimi are also up for debate.
