Paris Saint Germain have told Valencia they must pay €40m for Goncalo Guedes this summer, according to Le Parisien.
The Ligue 1 champions are desperate to meet Financial Fair Play regulations and free up funds, meaning they have had no choice in their decision to sell the Portuguese winger.
Guedes has been in superb form this season and has played a major part in Los Che’s impressive league campaign, one which saw them remain unbeaten until December.
Having joined the club on loan, officials at the Mestalla have been keen to explore the possibility of a permanent deal with contact being made to parent club PSG.
PSG bosses have said they are open to selling the winger to the Spanish club, and even more so now, after looking at their finances for next season.
The decision from the Ligue 1 side comes after signing both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer in mega money deals from Barcelona and Monaco, respectively.
Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal are also keen on the former Benfica forward, who at the age of 21 – will play at big part in his country’s World Cup campaign this summer in Russia.
Valencia, who lost midweek to Getafe – will look to bounce back on Saturday against Juan Carlos Unzue’s Celta Vigo.
