Valencia officials are keeping a close eye on former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro, according to Italian press.
The Brazilian had quite the downfall in English football after he departed Spurs for fellow London club, Queens Park Rangers, who he suffered relegation with.
Having left QPR in 2017 for a loan spell with West Bromwich Albion, Sandro struggled to re-find his form – thus seeing his chances of making the Brazil squad also diminish.
Recent spells with Turkish club Antalyaspor and with Italian side Benevento have seen him slowly improve, and he has gained interest from a number of European sides, including Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Valencia.
Italian press TodoMercatoWeb claim that all three are keen to explore the potential signing – having looked at his contract, which expires next June with Antalyaspor.
Valencia, who are keen to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia on a permanent deal this summer from Inter Milan – see Sandro as a potential back up and cheaper alternative should they fail to sign the French international.
Atleti boss Diego Simeone is also keen but other transfer targets are said to be way in front of the 29-year-old, whilst Inter could make a move if Kondogbia moves to the Mestalla this summer.
