Gareth Bale is involved in a three club race as his exit from Real Madrid this summer quickens.
Injuries have halted Bale’s consistent starts at Madrid in the last two seasons, losing his place to the likes of Isco, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.
The Welsh winger has been in form when given the chance by boss Zinedine Zidane however, but he was named on the bench for Saturday’s match in Kiev against Liverpool.
Coming off the bench for Spanish midfielder Isco in the second half, Bale took matters into his own hands, netting a superb overhead kick just moments after coming on, and scoring a 25-yard effort which was fumbled by Reds keeper Loris Karius.
Whilst Bale’s heroic performance has many Madrid fans wetting their lips and celebrating, the former Tottenham Hotspur winger instantly told reporters that he would be speaking to his agent about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“I need to be playing week in, week out, and that’s not happened this season,” Bale told BT Sport.
And, it now seems that three clubs have appeared as front runners in the race to sign the Welshman with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and German side Bayern Munich extremely keen.
United and Spurs have long been interested, whilst interest from the Allianz Arena is fresh but will be tempting for Champions League final scorer.
