Malaga are set to sign Espanyol keeper Roberto as a replacement for Carlos Kameni.
Kameni has been in superb form in recent seasons for Malaga, with standout performances against Barcelona and Real Madrid most notably last season – prompting the interest from the Turkish side.
Diario AS and El Mundo Deportivo are both reporting that Kameni will fly out to Turkey this week to sign a two-year contract with the option to extend to a third, leaving Malaga without an established number one keeper.
However, that has prompted Malaga officials to make a quick move for Espanyol stopper Roberto, with a deal said to have already been agreed pending a medical.
31-year-old keeper Roberto is expected to undergo a medical next week and link with Malaga boss Michel once more, after spending time under his guidance at Greek side Olympiakos.
Roberto began his career with Atletico Madrid before spending time with Portuguese side Benfica, Real Zaragoze and in Greece, before arriving back in Spanish football with Espanyol last season.
His time in the Catalan capital saw him make just three league appearances however, but a move to La Rosaleda is now likely to see him re-find regular playing time.
