Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been informed by Valencia that he can make a move for winger Santi Mina this summer.
Emery’s arrival at the Emirates stadium has many Gunners fans excited and the Spanish coach is already planning a number of key improvements to the squad he has inherited from former boss Arsene Wenger.
Whilst the former Sevilla and Paris Saint Germain boss has a number of attacking options already available, it is now understood by our sources that a move for Mina is on the cards.
Valencia have been in conversation with a number of clubs over Mina’s availability and it is now known that they have told Arsenal officials a move can be made.
The 22-year-old impressed last season, scoring 12 league goals in just 17 starts, but Los Che are keen to cash in on a number of their ‘most wanted’ players to build a squad for the Champions League.
Valencia based media outlet Plaza Deportiva have recently discussed Mina’s potential sale, claiming that Valencia will ask suitors for €25m, a figure which not put any off.
Along with a potential sale of Mina, it is also understood that Joao Cancelo and Simone Zaza could leave the club, with the former subject to a bid from Premier League new-boys Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Valencia reportedly rejected two offers from English clubs last season for Mina, one of which was Watford, according to Football Espana – but we understand Arsenal are now showing heavy interest.
