Real Madrid officials have planned and discussed an ‘unthinkable’ deal for Neymar this summer from Paris Saint Germain.
Marca report that whilst club president Florentino Perez is actively looking for a new head coach following the resignation of Zinedine Zidane last week – a proposed move for Neymar is now taking shape.
The daily Spanish paper, based in Madrid, claim that the Brazilian’s representatives have already been in contact and they remain positive on helping the former Barcelona man leave PSG this summer.
Neymar, who has performed well for the French champions – is keen to move back to Spain and has been linked to Madrid since the early part of last season.
Los Blancos officials are yet to hold discussion with PSG officials, but they have held several board meetings in recent weeks over funds, a bid and contract proposals.
Following his whopping €222 million from Barca last summer, Neymar will cost more for Real Madrid – but Perez, who is yet to know the futures of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo – remains set on getting the Brazilian.
Any such talks with Neymar will come after the World Cup in Russia, whilst the futures of Bale and Ronaldo will also follow the competition.
