Alaves have sealed new and improved contracts for Martín Aguirregabiria and Einar Galilea, the club confirmed via their official website.
Aguirregabiria, who had a superb season at the club – will continue to wear the colours of the Albiazul until June 2022 after penning a new deal on Friday last week.
His new deal, which was agreed in December last year will now see him remain at the club for the next four years, and will see him no doubt – hold down his right back place next season.
After fulfilling his dream of making a senior debut at the Mendizorrotza last season – Aguirregabiria made a further 21 appearances for the club in La Liga.
Galilea grabs new deal
Einar Galilea, who enjoyed a loan spell in Croatia with NK Rudes last season, has been handed a new deal which will run until June 2021.
The youngster began his career with Alaves youth team, playing for the B side in the lower leagues, before he was sent out on loan in January.
For Rudes, the Spanish central defender played a total of two league games in the Croatian first division and he will now return to Alaves, having helped them win the Segunda Division in 2016.
