Joao Cancelo has jetted into Turin to undergo a medical on Wednesday morning with Juventus, reports have confirmed.
Cancelo has been subject to plenty of transfer speculation since the season ended and it now seems that his expected move to Italian champions Juve is set to be completed.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Portuguese winger has arrived in Turin and he will undergo a medical examination upon completion of his €38m transfer.
The 24-year-old had a largely unsuccessful spell with Inter Milan last season on loan from Valencia, who are not interested in keeping the player at the club.
Further reports claim that Juve will pay Los Che €12m up front with the remainder of the transfer fee being paid in installments.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were believed to be close to agreeing a deal in the region of €40 million following their promotion to the Premier League but Cancelo is believed to have a desire to play at a bigger club with Champions League football on a regular basis.
With Juventus right back Stephan Lichtsteiner having recently joined Arsenal, there is an vacancy in the Juve back line and it is expected that Cancelo will fit straight into the starting eleven.
