Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal would be happy to see Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Brazilian forward have been linked with a move to Los Blancos for months, one that the Champions League holders are keen on and would spark controversy with the 26-year-old only leaving El Clasico rivals Barcelona last summer.
Saving space for Neymar
Last week, Neymar reportedly told PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he wanted to leave the French side.
But full-back Dani Carvajal has now fuelled the rumours once again.
The Spaniard told Cadena SER, via Goal: “If he was born to play in Madrid, I don’t know, Madrid always want the best in the world. If the president is determined to sign him, we will have to save a locker.”
Brazilian back firing
The Brazilian moved to PSG from Barcelona in August 2017 for a fee around €222 million, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists in 20 games in his debut season in France.
Only injury prevented Neymar from contributing more, having missed the last three months of the campaign. But his contributions still helped to secure the Ligue 1 title.
He has since returned to help fire Brazil into the knockout stages of the World Cup, where they will face Mexico in the last 16 on Monday.
