Real Betis are intent on signing Marcos Llorente from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.
The young midfielder arrived back in the Spanish capital last summer after spending time with Alaves on loan where he played in 34 games in all competitions.
His development at the lowly La Liga club was enough to gain interest from a number of potential suitors, including Real Sociedad, who offered him a permanent move.
Llorente’s rejection though, and desire to make the first team at Madrid has not been a success – making just nine league appearances this term.
It is now understood that the 23-year-old and his representatives have started looking into potential offers.
Sevilla have shown interest in the last few weeks, whilst Bundesliga interest is developing with Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund said to be keen.
But it is said to be Betis, who are keen to bring the midfielder to the club and reports claim they are intent on signing the youngster.
Betis boss Quique Setien is keen on improving his options ahead of a Europa League campaign.
Llorente’s potential exit from Madrid this summer could be followed by a number of big exits, including Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have seen their future’s become questioned.
