Napoli have completed the signing of Fabian Ruiz from Real Betis after he completed a medical on Tuesday afternoon.
CalcioNapoli24 report that the Spanish midfielder and his family arrived in Naples last Monday via cruise ship and Ruiz revealed that his move was complete, whilst a medical took place on Tuesday at the Italian club.
“I can already call myself a Napoli player, but I don’t know when I will become one officially,” he told the website.

Ruiz, who signed a new deal at Betis in January – will now move to the Italian club and begin pre-season in the middle of next month.
Having had somewhat of a breakthrough season at the Benito Villamarin last term, Ruiz was linked with a move to various big European sides, including La Liga sides Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Napoli, who have remained keen through the latter part of last season – have now completed negotiations, leaving Betis boss Quique Setien with a hole in his midfield which will need to be replaced sooner rather than later.
Ruiz was one of Betis’ standout players last term and played a large part in helping them achieve European qualification.
New arrivals at Betis are expected as Setien embarks on a Europa League campaign.
