Rayo Vallecano made it two signings in one day on Sunday, both coming in the form of right-backs as Luis Advincula joined Tito in moving to the club in south-east Madrid.
The second addition, Advincula, is used to wearing a white kit with red sash given that he is a Peruvian international who was involved at the World Cup in Russia.
Known for his pace, the full-back joins on an initial loan deal until the summer of 2019 with an option to make the move permanent if Rayo opt to make a payment to parent club Tigres.
The 28-year-old has previous experience in Europe having spent time with Hoffenheim and Vitoria Setubal before but will make his debut in La Liga with the Madrid club.
Advincula becomes one of the club’s first signings of the summer not to have played for the club before but has caught the eye with his pace to burn down the right flank and clearly offers a varied option when compared to Tito.
More adventurous in attack, Advincula may have a battle on his hands to secure a regular spot in the team but could prove to be one of the more exciting defensive additions in the Spanish top flight this season.
