Las Palmas have completed the signing of Hadi Sacko from Leeds United on a one-year loan deal.
The 24-year-old has undergone a medical at the Gran Canaria club on Monday ahead of his move, where he will hope to play a part in their promotion hopes, having been relegated to La Liga 123 last season.
Sacko arrives after a stint with Leeds, where he enjoyed 47 appearances over two seasons for the English side.
However, despite his regular playing time – it is understood that new Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa informed him that he would not play as much as a part this coming season.
Former Athletic Bilbao boss Bielsa shocked many, taking the job at Elland Road and he is hoping his side can achieve promotion to the Premier League this season.
Having begun his career with French side Bordeaux, Sacko moved on to Sporting CP in 2014, featuring for their B side – before breaking into the first team.
His performances over the years saw him gain international recognition, featuring for France at various youth levels – but a decision to represent Mali – came in March when he came on against Japan.
Sacko joins the likes of Ruben Castro, Juan Cala, Rafa Mir, Martin Mantovani and Alvaro Lemos as new signings at Las Palmas.
