Theo Hernandez completes La Real loan switchAugust 10, 2018
Theo Hernandez has completed his loan move from Real Madrid to La Liga rivals Real Sociedad.
The 20 year old was said to be seeking more playing time as he struggled for minutes last season under Zidane and it has been confirmed that he has now agreed a move to the Anoeta, where he will feature for the Basque side.
Theo has struggled to get game time is due to the fact that they have arguably one of the best left-backs in football in Marcelo and Nacho, who has also been preferred as an option.
Whilst interest came from Juventus, the Basque side have offered Hernandez a starting place in the first team and they are hoping his arrival would see them progress from their 12th place finish last season.
The deal is understood to be a one-year loan deal with La Real set to pay the full amount of his wages during the move.
Hernandez began his career with Rayo Majadahonda, before moving to Atletico Madrid in 2007 as a youth player. His performances would see him gain a move to Alaves on loan, before moving to Real in a deal stretching to six years.
The defender has featured 13 times for Los Blancos, whilst he has represented France at youth level.
