Barcelona midfielder Rafinha could be set for a move to Real Betis with his father in Seville to discuss a move.
Despite Ernesto Valverde’s desire to keep the Brazilian at the Camp Nou for the season ahead, it has been reported that Mazinho is in Seville discussing terms with Betis over a move.
Rafinha spent last season on loan with Italian club Inter Milan and returned to the Catalan club over the summer.
His return was met with delight by Barca’s fans and Valverde, who are all keen to see him become a regular player at the club.
However, the arrivals of Arthur and Arturo Vidal have cast doubt on that – and Mundo Deportivo, RAC1 and Sevilla Info all report that his father is now in talks for him to move on.
Rafinha made 17 appearances for Inter last season and was wanted on a permanent basis by the Serie A club, but a move never materialised as they looked at other options.
Betis have been fully active in the summer transfer window, bringing in a whole host of new faces like William Carvalho and Takashi Inui, however, that did not stop them losing the opening game of the season, 3-0, to Levante.
