Neymar met up with his former Barcelona team-mates over the weekend and has caused multiple sources to speculate further on his future at Paris Saint Germain.
The former Barcelona forward, who performed well for the French champions last season until injury dampened the latter part of his season – has been forever linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Ronaldo’s absence is going to cause new Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui a problem if the likes of Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale do not perform to a higher and more consistent rate than last season.
Neymar, who has been rather subdued on the rumours – has now added further speculation by returning to his former club, Barcelona, to meet with his former team-mates.
Various different claims have since come out across Spanish and French media, claiming the Brazilian told the likes of Gerard Pique, Marc Andre ter-Stegen and Ivan Rakitic that he missed Spanish life.
A move to Madrid this summer is extremely unlikely, however, given that their is only four days until the transfer window closes, but speculation is expected to remain until next summer – where a move could be forced by Madrid.
