Getafe are facing legal action from Cordoba over the transfer of Sergi Guardiola, report Marca.
The 27-year-old forward arrived at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez this summer and has already featured in La Liga.
Guardiola, who was top scorer last season in La Liga 123 with 23 goals, arrived on a loan, which included the option to make the move permanent for 10m euros.
However, Cordoba president Jesus Leon has confirmed to a press conference that they will seek legal action over a breach of contract.
According to Leon, Getafe had agreed to allow the loan of three players over the summer to the La Liga 123 side, but that has not happened.
Leon said that one of the players to go out on loan was Chuli, however, he has now joined Extremadura.
Dimitri Foulquier ready to help Getafe
Foulquier arrived on loan from English club Watford this summer, having had spells with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, and previously Granada.
The 25-year-old right back is yet to make an appearance in La Liga for his new side, but featured in the Puchero trophy game against Alcorcon on Wednesday evening, scoring the only goal of the game to help his side win the friendly.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the Frenchman said he was now ready to help the Madrid based side this season.
“I’m happy and the team is also happy with the victory, it’s always good to win and compete, I think the team has had a good attitude.
“I’m working hard, I’m trying to do what the coach asks, I said it when I arrived, I’m here, I’m one more to help and work.”
