Eibar vs Leganes: Bottom of the table Leganes travel to Basque countrySeptember 21, 2018
Eibar vs Leganes – Ipurua – Saturday 22nd September – Kick off 3:15pm UK time
Leganes are one of just three teams yet to win their first game of the season but they’ll hope to change that on Saturday afternoon when they travel up North to face Eibar.
Los Pepineros sit bottom of the La Liga table with just one point from their opening four games, picking it up in a 2-2 draw with Real Sociedad.
Opponents Eibar didn’t start the season very well either with defeats to Huesca and Getafe seeing them bottom after two games but a last gasp win against Real Sociedad and a hard fought draw at Atlético Madrid has boosted their confidence and they are clear favourites to beat the struggling Madrid side.
Both of last season’s meetings ended in 1-0 wins for Eibar with Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men scoring headed winners in the two games.
Five players will sit this one with injuries for Eibar with Pedro Leon, Kike, Pedro Bigas, Fabian Orellana and Jordi Calavera all ruled out.
Leganes are without Alexander Szymanowski, José Arnaiz, Ezequiel Munox, Recio and Kenneth Omeruo for the game with all five missing through injury as they aim for their first win of the season.
