Real Valladolid finally scored for the first time this season, earning an impressive 3-3 draw with Celta Vigo.
The visitors have had quite a month with former Brazil and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo having taken over the club as new president, but their on field troubles looked set to continue against an in-form Celta.
Antonio Mohamed’s side have been excellent, winning two games and drawing one, followed by one blip, against Girona last week.
Iago Aspas has been in ever-good form and he opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute, before Maxi Gomez made it two goals inside the opening ten minutes.
Celta had got off to the best start possible, but the visitors pegged one back after 39 minutes when Oscar Plano struck.
Heading out into the second half, the next goal seemed crucial and it went the way of Celta, who had Aspas to thank once more for an excellent goal.
However, their was life in Sergio Gonzalez’ side yet as Enes Unal struck just after the hour mark and they sealed an impressive point late on, when Leonardo Suarez scored in the 94th minute of the game.
The win leaves Celta fourth with Valladolid moving to 17th in the La Liga standings.
