Leganes vs Rayo Vallecano – Estadio Municipal Butarque – Saturday 6th October – 19:45 GMT
For the first time since recording their first win of the season over La Liga leaders Barcelona, Leganes return to Estadio Municipal Butarque with a Madrid derby against Rayo Vallecano.
The Pepineros were unable to make it two wins on the trot with defeat against Real Betis at the weekend, whilst Rayo Vallecano picked up a valuable draw on home turf against Espanyol to take their tally to two consecutive 2-2 draws and just one defeat from their last four games.
Both sides go into the game in the relegation zone, with Rayo just a single point ahead and a game in hand, with Mauricio Pellegrino and Michel both looking to find a way out of the danger zone as soon as possible.
Leganes remain without any fresh injury concerns as the only absentees are expected to be long term injury sufferers, Alexander Syzmanowski, who is returning from a hamstring problem, Ezequiel Munoz and Jose Arnaiz, both of whom are sidelined by groin strains.
Rayo Vallecano are fortunate in that they also have avoided any new injuries this week, though a virus could see Jose Pozo remain at home. Gorka Elustondo is still out of action due to a thigh injury.
Leganes (4-2-3-1): Cuellar; Juanfran, Bustinza, Siovas, Silva; Ruben Perez, Vesga; El Zhar, Santos, Oscar; Carrillo.
Rayo Vallecano (4-5-1): Alberto; Advincula, Abdoulaye, Amat, Moreno; Kakuta, Imbula, Comesana, Trejo, Bebe; De Tomas.
