Girona vs Eibar – Estadi Montilivi – Saturday 6th October – Kick off 12pm UK time
The early kick off on Saturday sees Jose Luis Mendilibar’s Eibar travel to Catalonia for the second time in a matter of weeks to take on Girona at the Montilivi.
Eibar’s last trip to the region saw them lose 1-0 at Espanyol and they followed that up with a defeat at home to Sevilla leaving them in 17th place, just three points above bottom place. However they are just four points off the European spots with the La Liga table still taking shape in the early stages of the season.
Hosts Girona were held to a 1-1 draw with newly promoted Huesca at El Alcoraz last week to make it three games without a win following defeats to Real Betis and Barcelona.
In last season’s two meetings, Eibar were the successful side, hammering Girona 4-1 both home and away and they’ll hope to get a similar result at the weekend as they aim to climb the table.
Only Johan Mojica, who has been out all season, will be missing for the hosts through injury while Jonas Ramalho and Carles Planas are not in the squad.
Pedro Leon and Gonzalo Escalante are injured and will sit this game out for Los Armeros while Marc Cardona, Pablo Hervias and Jordi Calavera will also sit this one out.

Eibar (4-4-2): Dmitrovic; Pena, Arbilla, Ramis, Angel; De Blasis, Diop, Jordan, Orellana; Kike, Enrich
