Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has addressed his Instagram post which claimed he was unhappy at the club, whilst also speaking of his frustrations.
The Chilean cited his anger at not being part of the game against Tottenham Hotspur or Valencia last week over Instagram, posting a cryptic message which some claim he was directly attacking one of the backroom staff at the Catalan club.
Contrary to those reports claiming he was speaking of boss Ernesto Valverde, Vidal has reacted by telling reporters in Miami ahead of the international break that he was feeling annoyed, but not with the former Athletic Bilbao coach.
“In the last few matches, I have been a bit annoyed. I very happy though, We have many important games coming up and the season is just beginning. If I have a problem with the coach, I will directly go to him and talk to him.
“The post was nothing to do with football, so I removed it as I knew it would cause speculation.
“People took it the wrong way, it was nothing to do with Barcelona.”
Malcom has been reassured by the Catalan club after citing fears over his lack of playing time.
The Brazilian was involved in a dramatic transfer switch during the summer as he was all set to join AS Roma, before making a final minute move to the Camp Nou.
Having impressed during Barca’s International Champions Cup trip to the United States over pre-season, the young winger was expected to be handed a shot by Ernesto Valverde.
However, playing time has been few and far between, making just two appearances from the substitutes bench this season, whilst he was not in the squad for the games against Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia.
