Barcelona are considering a shock return move for Neymar, who is reportedly unhappy with life in Paris.
The Catalan club’s 2017 pre-season tour of United States was much subject to talk of the Brazilian’s interest from Paris Saint Germain, who completed a lucrative and sensational move for the forward shortly after.
Neymar has been in superb form this term, scoring 11 goals in 11 games for the Ligue 1 side, but growing reports claim that the 26-year-old is unhappy with the competition of the French league and that he misses aspects of life in Barcelona.
Various reports in French and Spanish media claim that the former Santos youngster misses living in the Catalan capital, La Liga and his friendships with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
A potential return is now on the cards with PSG reported to have told Barca that they would accept a bid in the region of £220m.
That figure is tempting Barca officials to make a move, receiving the backing of club captain Messi in the process.
Whilst Barca will undoubtedly do all they can to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou, Real Madrid are also said to be waiting in the wings – having been heavily linked with a move over the summer just gone.
