Real Zaragoza have replaced Imanol Idiakez with Lucas Alcaraz after a poor run of form.
Idiakez tenure at the La Liga 123 side came to a sudden end on Sunday evening as his side drew against Tenerife at Estadio La Romareda.
Multiple reports claimed that Alcaraz was red-hot favourite to replace Idiakez and the club confirmed the appointment on Monday morning.
Andres Ubieto and Javier Chocarro took Monday morning’s training session, before meeting with Alcaraz to discuss plans for the club.
Alcaraz has coached various clubs at different levels in Spain, most recently with Almeria, whom he left earlier this year.
Zaragoza have just two wins from their last ten league games and sit just three places above the relegation places.
