Girona vs Rayo Vallecano – Estadi Montilivi – Saturday 27th October – 12:00 GMT
They make the journey less than 72 hours after a 1-1 home draw with Athletic Club, which followed a home defeat in a derby against Getafe last weekend. That was their second consecutive derby defeat having previously lost to Leganes.
Girona too have lost twice and drawn twice in their last four games, with their most recent win being at home to Celta Vigo on match day four. Most recently, Eusebio picked up a point in a 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad as he visited his former club.
Girona are without long-term injury hit players including Gorka Iraizoz and Johan Mojica but Cristhian Stuani will be the big miss as he overcomes a strain. Alex Granell is also unlikely to feature.
Rayo Vallecano remain without Gorka Elustondo due to a thigh injury whilst Alvaro Medran will also miss out. Gael Kakuta is set to return from an injury.
Girona (3-5-2): Bono; Ramalho, Bernardo, Juanpe; Porro, Pons, Garcia, Luiz, Aday; Lozano, Portu.
Rayo Vallecano (4-5-1): Alberto; Advincula, Galvez, Amat, Moreno; Kakuta, Imbula, Comesana, Trejo, Pozo; De Tomas.
