Levante were at their best as they beat Leganes on Saturday afternoon at Ciudad de Valencia.
The home side have looked impressive so far this season and make the win – their fourth in as many games.
After the impressive victory against Real Madrid weeks back, Paco Lopez’ side have continued their run of form and they dominated the early proceedings against Leganes, who are now in real trouble.
Roger Marti has been in good form of late too and it was the Spaniard who struck early on to give his side the lead with a superb low driving effort.
From that moment though, the game would change as Leganes took over and in total they mustered up an impressive 21 attempts at goal over the 90 minutes.
There problem though is goal scoring as only six of those 21 were on target and they were made to pay when Ruben Rochina wrapped things up with rare strike in the 90th minute.
Levante now sit seventh in the La Liga standings on 16 points, pushing the likes of Real Madrid and co. for the fourth placed Champions League spot.
Leganes are at the other end of the table and sit 18th, leaving huge cause for concern at the Butarque stadium.
