Real Madrid fans planning Sergio Ramos whistles

Real Madrid fans are set to boo and whistle captain Sergio Ramos in the upcoming games, reports claim.

What a week it has been at the Santiago Bernabeu, having been hammered by bitter rivals Barcelona at the weekend – the European champions sacked Julen Lopetegui.

Just one win in their last six games, losing four of those cemented Florentino Perez’ decision to remove Lopetegui from the helm and Santiago Solari has been promoted from the B side.

Now according to various reports, the club’s Grada de Animacion fan group are planning to attack captain Ramos.

Madrid face lowly Melilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday evening away from home, before returning to Bernabeu at the weekend to face Real Valladolid.

A meeting is now said to be in discussion between club members and the fans group, who are said to be bitterly upset with the season so far.

Madrid sit ninth in the La Liga standings and are now seven points off league leaders Barcelona. Whilst their form in the Champions League has been better, domestically – they have struggled, conceding 11 goals in their last five and scoring just twice.
