Gelson Martins earned Atletico Madrid a 1-0 win over Sant Andreu as Valencia were also pushed by lower league opposition.

In the only La Liga tie of Tuesday’s fixtures, Leganes and Rayo Vallecano faced off in a entertaining clash which ended 2-2.
Alvaro Garcia Rivera opened the scoring, before Alex Alegria doubled the away side’s advantage but a spirited second half performance from the hosts saw two goals from Youssef En-Nesyri.
Finally, the fourth and final game on Tuesday saw Atletico Madrid pushed all the way by Catalan side Sant Andreu.
Diego Simeone’s side had Gelson Martins to thank for a slender 1-0 advantage but in truth it could have been more.
