La Liga have submitted reports on recent chants from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid fans at Sergio Ramos and Theo Hernandez.
Following last month’s El Clasico tie between Barca and Real Madrid – a letter detailing chants from the Catalan club’s fans towards Ramos has now been sent to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation.
The letter reads that a minority of Barca fans made offensive chants towards Real Madrid and captain Ramos.
“In the Camp Nou, during minute 4,5,44 and 64 of Barca-Madrid, about 400 local fans, members of the animation group ‘Espai de Animació’, formed by the groups ‘FC Supporters’ and ‘Almogavers’, located in sectors 45, 46 and 47 of Gol Nord, they sang chorally and coordinated “MADRIDISTAS, HIJOS DE PUTA” and “SERGIO RAMOS SON DE PUTA”.
To match, Atletico Madrid subjected Theo Hernandez to the same sort of chants in their game against Real Sociedad.
“In the 67th and 71st minute of the match, some 4,000 fans located in the local animation stage, sectors 127 to 133 of the South Fund, sang in a coordinated and coordinated way “THEO HERNANDEZ, QUE HIJOPUTA ES” and “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO THE MUÉRETE, THEO MUÉRETE , THEO MUÉRETE “, in reference to the player of the visiting team, dorsal 19.”
It remains to be seen if either Barca or Atleti will receive a sanction over the chants.
