Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will look to make a move for Isco next summer after the midfielder lost his place in the Real Madrid side.
The Spanish midfielder has played a larger part in Madrid’s side this term after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer.
However, since Julen Lopetegui left the club following the 5-1 El Clasico defeat to Barcelona, Isco has seen less playing time.
New boss Santiago Solari has opted to for other options and Isco has somewhat settled for limited minutes from the substitutes bench, featuring for just 27 minutes against Eibar at the weekend.
The 26-year-old was an unused substitute against Roma on Tuesday evening, and it is now thought that his future at Madrid is being questioned.
Ever-linked with a move to Premier League side Manchester City, Isco is now expected to be shortlisted by Guardiola, who is a keen admirer of the midfielder.
City are favourites for the Premier League title, however, Guardiola wants to further enhance his side for a Champions League challenge and he could now make a move ready for next summer.
Former Malaga man Isco is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League, having been previously linked to City and Arsenal.
